Jade Lane, 25.
Late daughter of the MTV generation, Jade spent most of her teenager years with the tv on and its buzz in her ears, from hip-hop to dance to rock, there's nothing she hadn't listened to. Grown up in an eccentric family, with her parents both local college professors with a strange mix of New Age and conservative beliefs, she never really cared about her future as long as it was fun and filled with music, no matter if it was her own or someone's else. Inspired by a documentary about Woodstock that her brother made her watch when she was still a kid, she started playing the drums but never thought to made a career out of it and focused on writing about the music she love, ending up writing for the weekend edition of the ny daily news...as long as she gets to see concerts for free and can pay the rent? She doesn't ask for more.
rock journalist, ny daily news.
-going to concerts for free and getting paid for writing about them? nothing could be better for a music enthusiast like Jade. Except for writing for Rolling Stone.
she never lasts more than a weekend in each band, not because she's not good enough at the drums, but because changing is what Jade loves the most.
