I was born in 1957, and early in my life, I knew my destiny was to be an artist. The work of Picasso and Van Gogh captured my heart at 8 years old, and trips to MOMA left me star struck as I gazed at the Guernica and Starry Night. While studying architecture at Pratt , my school work was often interrupted or left unfinished while I worked on my real love- painting. As is often the case in the artistic world, I left architecture and shuffled off to Buffalo to study art and painting. Moving back to my hometown of Ellenville, NY, I had his first single person exhibit @ Ulster College at 22, and had an art show in Soho soon after. My flair moved to creating sculptures which evolved successfully into creating tables and lamps. I was in business! My work became popular and orders grew into a thriving, successful business. The next 30 years saw I evolved into a multifaceted artist that included pop art and rock & roll stars and watercolor and oil paintings. My art is featured in homes, offices, restaurants and lobbies around the world. I now live in the Fort Lauderdale area with my beloved family. I feel most grateful that I live in a time that permits me to market my art directly over the web. Peace & gratitude. - A great Gift for any occasion; Mother's Day, Father's Day, Birthday, Christmas or New Year's Gift.

Alexandra Carter reimagines the iconic farmyard rooster, rendering the rustic and familiar in fresh, painterly washes of deep blue, red and browns. Although appearing as a traditional watercolor, the work is the result of an unusual technique by which Carter applies pools of ink to waterproof yupo paper, allowing the pigment to traverse across the non-porous surface in unpredictable ways. Giclée reproduction of the original painting is printed on paper and hand signed by the artist. Each print is framed in pine with a matte black finish.

Field of expression. Off the grid is inspired by a landscape drawing of a simple country setting, as envisioned by Creativity Explored artist Hung Kei Shiu. Deconstructed into a staccato field of bold lines and abstract shapes, red, blue and white markings layer a complex network of freestyle expression. Much like a jazz musician who feels every note, Shiu creates by instinct. His spontaneous composition evokes dynamic rhythm and motion, originally rendered in paint pens and ink on paper and replicated here as a handpainted canvas. Hung kei shiu. Hung Kei Shiu is a studio artist at San Francisco's Creativity Explored, a nonprofit visual arts center where artists with developmental disabilities create, exhibit and sell art (learn more at creativityexplored.org). An intensely focused artist, Shiu deconstructs and reinterprets paintings to create his own abstract compositions. Working primarily in ink, paint pens and fabric collage, he builds fields of line and color through mark making, resulting in a deep sense of space. Learn more about Hung Kei Shiu on our blog. • Paper Collective - Invisible
    connox.com
The poster Invisible from Paper Collective displays a drawing made by hand, originated from the continuous excitement of the designer for portraits: Portraits with a twist. A Mile In The Woods designer Louise Huagaard Nielsen drew a hybrid between woman and animal, between reality and fiction with his poster “Invisible” made of Paper Collective. The surreal art print is made of uncountable lines and forms with tell a completely different history, than that one told by a photographer. The woman on the picture becomes a city, a landscape, an abstraction. Under the offset-print there is the name of the manufacturer and of the design studio with a decent writing. The Invisible poster was made of 200g/qm Munken Pure paper. The uncoated paper has archive quality and it is FSC-certified, of course. Paper Collective produces the art print with the Nordic environment-protection seal, similar to the Blue Angel from Germany. The Paper Collective poster Invisible is limited to 300 pieces all over the world. Moreover a part of the gain is donated to charity organizations chosen by the designers – in the case of the abstract women’s poster from A Mile In The Woods, the donation goes to Amnesty International.
