And THIS is exactly where I found her! I was walking through the room and as I passed by the table, I thought I heard a teeny tiny voice coming from- from where? I didnt know. I was the only one in the house besides my pup Pippin. It couldnt be. I looked over at Pippin. Nope! He was sound asleep across the floor. I was about to leave the room, thinking I must have imagined the voice, but there it was again! It seemed like it was coming from the table, but tables dont talk- Everyone knows that! The only thing on the table was my prized, beautiful edition of Beatrix Potters Journal which Id been reading the night before. I left the book standing on the table open, with pages fanned out between the covers. Books dont talk either, but the barely audible voice I heard sounded like it was coming from the book! I walked over to the table, which is just in front of the bookshelves and looked first under the table- nothing there. then I looked back deep into the bookshelves in the chance a little critter had wandered in without my knowing it. My search revealed nothing but I was still hearing the voice! I felt silly, but there was only one thing left to do. As I was about to pick the book up, the voice became loud enough for me to tell that it was coming from within the book. With the book still standing, I leaned over so I could look from the top down into the fanned out pages, and this is what I saw! ~ An adorable little bunny was standing between two pages, talking to her teddy bear. She had no idea that I was there. Fascinated by what I was seeing, I stood there watching. Being that close helped me to hear what she was saying, as well. She was actually going page by page, walking through the book and reading the stories to her bear! Hardly able to believe my eyes, I watched a bit longer and then felt like it wasn’t nice of me to stand there watching her when she didn’t even know I was there. I cleared my throat, making a bit of noise to alert her that someone was there. Either she didn’t hear me, or she didn’t care, because she went right on reading. “Excuse me,” I said. She stopped reading and looked up at me from her stance between the pages. She smiled, but said nothing. I asked if I could bother her to come out for a few minutes so we could meet. She looked down at her teddy bear- who must have given permission, because a second later, out she came, clutching her teddy bear. She looked like she actually could have stepped out of one of the pictures in the book! She was larger than I’d thought she’d be from the sound of her little voice. From the ground to the tips of her ears she looked to be about 8 1/2 inches tall. She was dressed in a beautiful Victorian-type outfit; a soft-rose colored jumper with an embroidered rose on the skirt and a light-pink satin sash around her waist, tied in a bow in back. Below her jumper she wears a beautiful pair of white bloomers with a matching white blouse; the perfect outfit for such a pretty little bunny! I introduced myself to her and told her about The Land of Felt and The Bunny Garden and of course welcomed her and her teddy bear to stay with us as long as they want to. She listened, smiling, looking from me to her teddybear - and back once in awhile to the book on the table, but she hardly said a word. I told her I’d take her out to meet all of the other critters, but first I had a question for her. She looked at me with large eyes, wondering what I was going to ask. How in the world did you get into my house? You’re way too small to have reached the door knob- nor could you have climbed through an open window. How did you get here? She giggled, then replied, “Oh that was easy! We came in the book! I just stepped out of the page and brought my teddybear with me!” It was my turn to laugh. “You’re very imaginative, aren’t you? That’s a great answer, I love it! But now tell me how you really got here?” This time she looked a little troubled. “But that is how we got here! I don’t know of any other way- How else could we have come?”She looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. I don’t ha

Jason Peter Todd is a fictional character appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Jason Todd first appeared in Batman#357 (1983) and became the second Robin, sidekick to the superhero Batman, when the previous Robin, Dick Grayson went on to star in The New Teen Titans under the moniker of Nightwing.
