♫ | Bridgit Mendler – Ready or Not
“Bee, is everything okay?” Cloe asked after a couple of hours being quiet. It wasn't like me and the girls from the house knew me too well.
I sighed, “No.”
“Then what's wrong?” Grace, who was sitting next to Cloe, inquired.
“This is going to sound stupid, but I think I lack passion.” I said seriously. Both girls stared at me, then burst into laughter. The librarian glared at us then 'Shh'd us.
“You can't be serious.” Cloe said, biting her lip to keep from laughing.
“I am.” I groaned.
“Haven't you been dying to jump into Colt's pants?” Grace blurted out.
“I love him, I do. But every time he tries to make a move I end up elbowing him or kicking him.” I looked at the text book in front of me blankly.
“That's understandable.” Cloe nodded. “You're his best friend, above all things.”
“Yea, that's why you can't bring yourself to have sexy times with him.” Grace wiggled her eyebrows.
“But I have far more desire towards that one sexy bohemian painter that sits next to the British Lit classroom than I have for Colt.” I said solemnly.
“Who's that though?” Cloe asked. “Is it the guy with the long hair who wraps it in a bun all sexy like?”
“Oh! Yea. He's cute.” Grace nodded. “But what does he have to do with this?”
“That's not the point.” I narrowed my eyes at her. “The thing is, I don't want to take the next step in my relationship with Colton.”
“Excuse me,” A deep male voice with a British accent said from behind us. I turned around, the blood draining from my face as I stared into the eyes of the sexy bohemian painter. “Thank you for fancying me.” He said. “However, I am trying to study and hearing all about your sex life isn't helping.”
Cloe and Grace snorted, laughing way too loud for a library. On cue, the librarian stood up, glared at us and said “That's it. You four, out.” And shoved us out of the library. That was a first for me.
“I can't believe we just got thrown out of the library.” I said appalled.
“We wouldn't have if you hadn't started talking about y'know.” Sexy bohemian said.
“I think I'm gonna grab some coffee, come on Cloe.” Grace said, dragging Cloe away from us. Leaving me alone with him.
“Great.” I muttered. “I'm terribly sorry about that.” I said, my cheeks burning. I probably looked like a tomato right now.
“No worries. Let me make it up to you and your studying by inviting you for a cup of coffee, or tea.” He said politely. “I'm Miles.”
“Bailey.” I said, extending my hand and shaking his. Just a cup of coffee. It wouldn't hurt me.
Hi ya'll! Does anyone want to collab? And yay, a Bailey story!
