Then she is a Hamadryad (according to wikipedia, my dictionary is too heavy). The Hamadryads were an integral part of the tree or it's spirit and the gods would punish any mortals who harmed trees.
Then again, maybe they are related to the Ents? :O))
I am fascinated by the idea of dryads. I tried to make her look of the tree and somehow a bit apart from the tree. Someone you could glimpse from the corner of your eye then not believe you had seen.
