My violin solo, J.S. Bach's Concerto no. 1 in A Minor, is coming along nicely. Well...it's coming. I need it polished to perfection by March first, which isn't the best because things in the beginnings of months always sneak up on me, like my mum's birthday. So far, I can play all the way through it, if I go super slowly or change tempos as I go to play at the normal (fast) speed for the easier sixteenth note scale-type parts and slow down at the strange string crossings and unnatural accidentals. So that's that. I should practice more, but I have final exams coming up and I need to study for that more. Actually, I'm a rather good test taker and shouldn't need to study much today because my friends and I will be getting together for a "study group" tomorrow, but I'm going to the library soon just in case we end up paying more attention to Dr. Who and my friend's cats than biology notes.
