If you’ve got a ticket booked and just a bag to pack, we have the list of warm weather essentials sure to make your sun holiday a snap. (Stay tuned for The Cold List!)

Protect your skin with SPF30 and a great packable hat.
Light weave scarf - I never fly without one – use it to cozy up with on the plane, as a sarong at the beach/pool or a wrap in the evening.
I always pack a pair of leggings - stuff them in your carry-on - you can put them on under a dress on a plane if you get cold.
Shorts or for those who don't - a pair of cropped pants or rolled jeans.
I love to have a classic button down shirt on hand - it's perfect with shorts, over maxi dresses, long enough to cover your backside with leggings or doing extra-duty as a bathing suit cover up.
I'm never without a couple of flowing cotton tops or tanks - these are great paired with shorts, a fun maxi skirt or cropped pants/rolled jeans.
On my must-have list is a light weight long sleeve T for sun protection on hikes and excursions or just in case there's a cool evening.
Don't forget to pack your bathing suit.
Another must-have for me is a cotton or jersey dress to layer over bathing suits - either full length maxi dresses or above the knee fit and flare (love!!).
What's a vacation without a night out? Pack one light weight silk dress and pair with either your strap-y sandals or a fun wedge and you're good to go.
Flat strap-y sandals – try some in metallic - the new black – goes with everything and adds a little sparkle.
If you plan on doing more than lie by the pool or sit at the beach, a pair of comfortable flat shoes for hikes or sight-seeing is another MUST!
Planning a night on the town? A fun pair of wedges for a night on the town is just the ticket.
For accessories I always pack some basic hoop earrings, one cuff or set of bangles, a few simple rings and a small cross body bag for money, cards, lip balms, camera or phone and small area maps.
