he rolled his eyes playfully at her and nudged her gently with a smirk. they were always like this with each other, but he wouldn't have it any other way. he knew that they could be relaxed and themselves, he liked that about them. laughing, he nodded in agreement again. "i mean, i know we're preparing for N.E.W.T.'s and everything, but if this is sixth year, i'm dreading seventh year," he groaned a little bit. that would not be fun at all. chuckled a little bit, he nodded. "nope, deadly serious," he promised. "me and rose weasley pranked him, but being the prat he is he took it out on me, knowing i'd picked him out. and no, i don't see why he's a slytherin either," he said with a roll of his eyes.

` "are you sure your not a complete idiot?" she asked jokingly, sticking her tongue back at him in a childish manor. many people thought the two of them were dating, and on multiple occasions people have come up to them and told them that they look very cute together. especially at dinner parties. that happened a lot. marie would never think of dating him though, it would gross her out a bit. they have known each other since they were little kids because their parents were good friends. "yeah i can't stand it!" she exclaimed slightly, but then started laughing a bit when he mentioned getting punched by albus, "are you kidding me? what did you do to get him to punch you? usually he isn't that violent.. actually he is quite nice. sometimes i don't see why he is in slytherin." she admitted shrugging a bit, her head still on his shoulder. @rowlings-army

scorpius rolled his eyes too and laughed a little bit, shrugging at her again. "well i don't think it's real, i'm not a complete idiot. it just gives me something to pass the time," he informed her, poking his tongue out at her gently before smiling as she set his head on her shoulder. it was a friendly gesture, nothing more. nodding a little as she spoke, he smiled. "hm, work load is crazy already," he said with a roll of his eyes. marie was like his younger sister who he looked out for, although she did a pretty good job of looking after herself. "i know," he sighed. "well, i got punched by albus potter," he chuckled, and he got kissed by rose weasley, but he leaved that bit out for now, not sure how she'd take it. they were best friends, sure, but marie was slightly more slytherin obsessed than he was.

` marie rolled her chocolate eyes, typical. "still is boring. it's stupid news and half of the time it's not even right! i don't see how people can be so stupid to think that it's actually real. i mean come'on." she teased with him and set her small head on his bony shoulder. scorpius was almost like an older brother to her- even though she would hate to admit it. marie was one of the youngest sixth years, and you could be able to guess it with her small size. some people mistake her for being a third year, well that is until they see her face. "i've been pretty good. just trying to keep up with school work and such." she stated simply, sighing a bit. the only thing interesting that has happened to her is talking with xander. "how about you? i hardly see you anymore!" @rowlings-army

scorpius scanned it, looking at the pictures and headlines to see if there was anything interesting and actually worth reading about. he felt someone sit down next to him but didn't bother to look up until he heard the voice. marie, of course. one of his best friends. laughing a little, he shrugged and folded it back up, throwing it onto the table in front of him before angling himself to look at her again. "yeah well, nothing better to do. besides, i was only looking at the pictures today," he chuckled, giving a soft shrug in return too. despite what many people thought, him and marie had no love interests with each other, they were merely good friends. "how've you been?" he asked curiously, having not seen her very much recently.

` marie looked at her self in the mirror, and smiled a bit as she realized that her brown hair was curled to perfection. this slytherin girl could not stand looking bad, especially when it came to her hair. she was probably one of the most proper girls in school- and that is one of the reason why almost every guy loves her. well, the only guy who doesn't is the one she is in love with. xander. his name always filled her stomach with gitty butterflies, like nothing she has ever felt before. the brown haired slytherin walked out of her room and up the stairs towards the common room. she smiled when she saw her best friend scorpius and walked over to him, plopped next to him on the green sofa, "always reading the prophet. i can't stand that thing, it is so annoying." she stated simply. @rowlings-army

' scorpius walked into the slytherin common room, a grin on his face. after the party the other night, he was in a really good mood. so he did get punched in the face by albus potter, that wasn't great and he was still working up some sort of plot for revenge, but he did get kissed by rose weasley. not that he'd told anyone that of course, he needed to talk to her first and see where they stood with each other. taking a seat on the sofa, he ran a hand through his hair and picked up a daily prophet that was lying around, flicking through it. but he was only really looking at the pictures, his mind was too busy thinking about the kiss, revenge and quidditch.
