lotions & potions are great and smell nice, but the very best way to get beautiful skin is from the inside out which means eating a skin-friendly, healthy diet.
here's a few times on things to eat & help your skin out a bit. (:

OO1. WATER WORKS.
you should drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your skin clear and bright. aim for about six glasses a day and avoid soda, which is just full of sugar.
OO2. FRESH & FRUiTY.
you should try to eat at least five portions of fresh fruits & vegetables every day. skin-friendly superfoods include carrots, broccoli, apricots, strawberries, watercress lettuce, & oranges. they're great for the rest of your body too!
OO3. GREAT NEWS!
experts can't find any evidence to link eating chocolate to having problematic skin, so you can still indulge occasionally. ♥
OO4. PERFECT DAiLY MEAL PLAN.
it's important not to skip meals - - a regular, healthy diet can work wonders on your skin & will give you lots of energy.
breakfast ; start with a glass of fresh juice & whole grain cereal with sliced bananas and milk, followed by toast and honey. egg white omelettes are a little more complicated, but as long as there's not too much cheese, it's just as healthy & delicious! stay away from sugar cereal, donuts, & other pastries.
lunch ; make a sandwich or have a salad followed by yogurt or fruit. stay away from things like top ramen, frozen meals & focus on the fruits & vegetables or grains & dairy.
dinner ; go for grilled chicken & a baked potato with fresh vegetables, followed by fresh fruit salad with yogurt and nuts. stay away from fast food & pasta.
snacks ; don't go hungry between meals! if you feel cranky or tired, try a healthy snack to keep you going. fruits, nuts, vegetable sticks, crackers, granola bars & yogurt are far better than candy & chips.
remember, you can ALWAYS ask your parents to buy you healthier things.
if you're into ice cream, go for fat free frozen yogurt.
if you're into potato chips, go for butterless popcorn sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
if you're into any sort of candy, chew sugarless gum.
now, if you don't follow some of these, no worries! you won't die. (; just watch what you eat and maintain a fabulous diet.
