There are two simple things that you should do to lose those unwanted inches.
1. Stop drinking soda.
• The excess sodium and carbonation in soda make you retain water and also cause you to become thirstier which can (and most likely will) make you retain even more water weight.
• There are also many chemicals and artificial ingredients in soda and diet soda which are generally unhealthy
• Instead of soda, drink water.
o Put your waterbottle in the freezer for a few hours to get a slush.
o Add cut up fruits like strawberries, cherries, raspberries, lemon or lime to make your drink more exciting.
o One glass of ice cold water burns about ten calories. Drink up ☺
2. Start your workout first thing.
• Working out on an empty stomach burns more calories.
• Immediately after working out drink a glass of water and eat some protein. This will help you build back some of the muscle you have burned.
By cutting back on soda and taking advantage of your own metabolism, studies show that it is simple to lose 3-5 inches off of your waist ☺
