Hey Guys, Linna here(: It's summer time and I LOVE to paint my nails in the summer, especially water marbling. It's so simple and cute! And it gives this bohemian taste, You just have to do everything right, also shout out too @tippzies Follow them! They just joined polyvore and they have awesome tips as well, now let's get to the tip!
What You Need;
~ 3-5 Different Nail Polishes (example colors; pink, yellow, white)
~ Clear Coat Nail Polish
~ Tape, Vaseline, OR Chapstick (you only need one of them)
~ Plastic bowl (Note, it will ruin your bowls)
~ Toothpick
~ Q-tips & Nail Polish Remover **OPPTIONAL**
HoW tO:
O1.) Fill the plastic bowl with room temperature water. Or you can fill it with hot water and leave it somewhere for an hour then it will turn into the room's temperature. Usually room temperature is about 70*- 80* So the water should be hotter than just warm water...but not too hot.
O2.) Tape the finger your using everywhere except your nail (duhhhh!) if your using Vaseline or Chapstick...apply it everywhere on your finger except the nail.
O3.) Open all the nail polishes your using, for example I'm using the colors...pink, yellow, and white. Let the white nail polish drip into the bowl, when a little drop falls into the water it will spread, then I take the yellow nail polish and put the brush above the water and let it drip into the water, them I take the pink and let it drip into the water. Keep doing this at least 3-5 times. DO NOT pour the nail polish into it, or put the brush into the water. Let it fall by it self.
O4.) When your done with step #3, use your toothpick (optional) to make a design in the water. It's kinda tricky because the nail polish in the water is really sticky so if your a beginner just don't make a design in the water.
O5.) Dip ONLY one finger into the water when you take it out use the toothpick to take out the parts you don't want, when you take your finger out of the water it is pretty dry when your finish. Take the tape off if your using it, take the Q-tip & nail polish remover to take off any nail polish on the skin.
O6.) Repeat steps #2-5 Again for EACH finger, yes this takes a while but when your done its sooo cute!
Well that's all to it, if your more of a visualize person here's some link to watch;

Also, some nail polish brands don't work as good as the others. The best are Sally Hansen, China Glaze, and OPI. Some cute colors to mix together are;
- Pink, Blue, & White
- Pink, Blue, & Neon Yellow.
- Green, Neon Orange, & Purple.
