"Li Li," you called as you walked into the flat dumping the shopping bags by the front door.

"Kim?" Liam, your boyfriend of 2 years questioned. "In the dining room." He called.

"Why you in there?" You called back confused, as you dumped your handbag on the kitchen bench and ambling through to where Liam said he was.

"Surprise?" He called back, as if it was more of a question to himself rather than a definite answer.

"Alright..." you muttered to yourself as you headed in to the room, only to find Liam standing at one of the large table, rose petals scattered throughout and a beautiful dinner for two set up. "Li Li," you gushed walking round to give him a hug.

"Am I the best boy friend or what?" He asked, placing a kiss on your forehead.

"Your the best," you replied giggling as he pulled your chair out for you.

Liam sat in his chair, and poured you both a glass of wine.

"This is lovely Liam, thankyou," you smiled, taking a sip of the cold substance letting it trickle down your throat.

"Your welcome. Now, since I can't cook to save myself I got your favourite Chinese takeaway," he smiled, removing the silver cloche in front of you to reveal honey chicken and sweet and sour pork.

"Thanks," you smiled as you dug in, a small moan escaping your mouth as the flavors exploded on your taste buds.

"Kim," Liam started as he swallowed another mouthful. "I organised this dinner for something special tonight."

"Is it our anniversary? I swore that wasn't for another month," you rushed out, worried.

"No, not that. I have something to ask," he smiled.

"You're gonna ask me to move-" you started but Liam stopped you.

"Can you let me speak?" He asked giggling.

"No, I wanna ask you something good," he smiled, standing from his seat. "I wanna ask you too be my wife, only if you want of course."

"L-Liam," you stuttered, slightly stunned.

"Well, will you marry me?" he asked, pulling out an amazing diamond ring.

"Yes," you smiled, as a few tears brimmed your eye line. "Yes of course."

"Thank god," Liam smiled, sliding the ring onto your finger and standing, softly placing a kiss on your lips. "I can't wait for you to be Mrs. Payne."

"I can't wait to be Mrs. Payne either," you replied, grinning goofily.
