Really?! I mean what in the world is she to do??? Some women pay big bucks for a curvy figure. Bless them for trying but she can't keep a good job because of it. SICK!!!

That is terrible about that woman :( I am so disappointed - i don't think a woman needs to look 'manly' in order to be professional. I love you set!!!! The clothes all look great :)

I have not heard this particular story, but the reason my career was ruined, is similar to this. There was a sociopath in the picture then, but impossible for a woman to fight back. I suppose lawyers were not really "with" us either. This was in 1989 in Norway. things are better here now, but still it's not an advantage to be a woman , especially in a leading position. The "claims" against me from the newly hired boss, was that I was too perfect, too good at my job. In fact, he told me I was the best personal assistant he had ever had but he did not want me to work with the company. Only when I broke down and cried, did he seem to suddenly change and want me to stay. But by then it was too late. Daily harrassment over a long period of time made me ill, and I was sent streight to hospital. It has taken time to build up a new life, but it became too late to get a job again. No one believed my story. Solid CV, jobs abroad, university education - nothing helped as long as I had a working gap of a couple of years. And not even that the boss was fired not very long after, after having also hurt/damaged other people. I hope Debrahlee will be able to find another job worthy of her - and succeed in the case against Citigroup.
