CRY- Mandy Moore
Just finished watching A Walk to Remember. So sad!
❖ Ornette Raine Dumont
from: paris, france
status: high-class socialite
Ornette is a pretty face - and that's about it. Her best friend, Patricia, keeps her for her submissiveness. In fact, Ornette is quite ambitious, and if she knew better, she'd probably take out Patricia and everyone else on her way up the social ladder. Unfortunately for Ornette's social standing, she's a bit...off. Too dumb to even know how to spell her middle name, she's kind of a joke to everyone. All she wants in life, she gets with Daddy's credit cards. She's never had to work hard for anything. Being ditzy even gave her an advantage with boys - she was the helpless female. now, though, Ornette is among the best of the best, the greatest and the most infamous and notorious of the century. There, an ordinary French socialite doesn't exactly stand out. Ornette may be dumb, but she's also sly. If she can ever get her head out of the clouds, she might notice that there's social territory to be conquered.

(in character - interview with press)
1) Ok tell us about your past, where do you come from?
I was born in Paris, France in 1992. My parents are high successful. My father is a world-known film director; my mother is a retired actress known for her roles in iconic movies like Breakfast at Tiffany's. I went to a lot of boarding schools, but I didn't really 'understand' the lessons, so my parents sent me to a new boarding school outside of Dublin. I used to compete in beauty pageants, but I got bored of winning so I quit. During high school, I did gymnastics. It was okay, I guess.
2) How do you know Marie, or if you don't what are the circumstances around you being invited to the wedding court?
I know just about everyone. I met Marie at a gala a couple years ago my parents hosted. We hit it on a little and text occasionally.
3) Can you tell us a few personal strengths and weaknesses?
Personally? I don't really understand that... I'm really good at making up plans, shopping, looking pretty, and gymnastics. And getting people to do stuff for me. I'm not good at school or spelling.
4) What are you most looking forward to about moving to Versailles and taking part in court?
I'm looking forward to just being there. I've never really been to Versailles, which is unusual since I've been, like, everywhere. There'll be new people, new food, new clothes, and, of course, new boys.
5) What is one thing the world should know about you?
I'm a lot smarter than I look. People don't think I'm that smart, well I'm not, but I'm not as stupid as people assume. Oh, and that I could ruin you with the click of my perfectly fresh, French manicure.

~ why did you choose this character?
I dunno. Something just stood out with Ornette. She seemed a little different than most characters that I tend to choose. I liked her because she sort of reminded me of Brittany Pierce from Glee. Stupid, but a lot smarter than people take her for.
~ can you honestly be active?
I honestly can. There isn't much going on lately. The school year is wrapping up and I have free time on the weekends to catch up on stories!
~ why should we choose you for this character?
You should choose me because I'm lovely. Haha, not really. But I can relate to her a bit in a sense that I'm not that bright. I feel like I can put a lot into stories and would seriously enjoy writing each week!
