Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley, EMH
The elevator slowly opened, revealing the brightly lit apartment though I wasn't sure on what to call it. His living space was huge and quite unnecessary if you ask me. I stepped out and was welcomed by the same robotic voice; I still had no idea where it was coming from. "Dr Isley is here to see you, Mr Stark" it spoke before pausing, "good evening Dr Isley."
I looked toward the ceiling with an emotionless expression before speaking up, "evening" I spoke before feeling ridiculously stupid for speaking to something non-existant. And specifically man made. "Where's Stark?" I questioned, standing and tapping my foot lightly.
I wasn't a woman to keep waiting.
"He's just getting out of-" the voice was cut off by Tony who approached me, wearing only a towel which had been wrapped around his waist. "You're early" he smiled charmingly.
"No, I'm on time, you're late" I stated, rolling my eyes. I kept my attention away from his perfectly chiselled body.
"Sir, you seemed to have taken a longer shower than necessary" the voice replied, there was no emotion in it. It reminded me a little of myself and my emotionless moments.
"Would you look at that? I apologise, m'lady, for such inconvenience" Tony said, frowning slightly though I doubt he felt bad at all for this 'accidental' time mix-up.
He probably wanted to show off his body.
Wouldn't surprise me.
"1. I'm not your lady and 2. what is it that you need?" I asked, though feeling that my question was unnecessary. "Why can't we just hang out and relax?"
"Because you want sex" I stated bluntly, crossing my arms over my chest. "I'm not easy nor am I 'sleazy' and I'm certainly not going to sleep with my boss."
"You have to stop thinking of me as your boss."
"And you need to stop thinking you're going to sleep with me" I replied, running a hand through my neatly swept hair and turned on my heel.
Tony placed his hand on my shoulder, "please stop."
"Mr Stark, what now?" I had to bite my tongue or I would have lashed out and gotten myself fired. Or a brawl would have broken out. Either one; not pretty to witness.
"Can you at least just hang out? I get lonely, I rarely have visitors anymore and if I do, they're for business" he began to explain, taking a pause. "Just for an hour, half an hour, not even that" he finished; his eyes pleading.
Usually the guilt technique wouldn't work.
But I felt sorry for poor little rich boy.
"Fine, but don't try anything sneaky or you'll be regretting it for the rest of your life" I said. I knew for a fact that he had no idea to what potential I could fight.
I could kill him with a kiss.
It was how I enjoyed sealing all of my deals.
"Nothing sneaky" he agreed, nodding. "I promise" Tony added.
"Because you know what?" I questioned, entering his large lounge area and peering out the tall windows overlooking the city.
"I could kill you with a kiss" I smirked, looking at his reflection in the window. His smirk matching mine though I'm not sure if he realised how serious I was.
"I could kill with just one-"
"I said no sneaky business" I reminded him, raising my voice and it began to echo, bouncing off the walls. I turned on my heel, "now lets 'hang'" I air quoted him.
I still didn't know why I wasted precious time on this man.
