"We'll pick him up tomorrow morning, or, we could pick him up when we get back if you would rather that." I hated leaving Sam over night anywhere.
"Isadora, he'll be fine, we don't mind keeping him over night, just be safe tonight, he doesn't need any younger brothers or sisters just yet." Mom laughed, but I could tell she was serious. Okay, so since Sam was born I might have had one, or two pregnancy scares, but we're good now, we pay attention to contraceptives.
When we got to the party, we were greated by the usual hugs and questions. Mark started talking about comics with Chace Kellion, who seemed to have a major growth spurt overnight. He smiled at me and went back to his DC vs. Marvel debate with Mark.
I on the other hand, went to the bar and ordered a vodka cranberry and started talking with Gemma or whoever sat next to me and ordered a drink.
"I have to go to the bathroom." I stumbled away from the bar, turning around quickly to get my glass of champagne.
"Well well well, look at you Miss Termini, all fit and toned after having a baby." Chace laughed after I walked out of the bathroom and straight into him.
"It's been two years." I smiled, I couldn't help but smile when I thought about Sam. "And what about you, you went from scrawny little Chace to buff guy that I don't even know." I slurred and poked his chest.
He nodded and smiled quickly.
"Wipe that grin off your face, you're not that hot." I said, reaching for his glass of champagne.
"Nope, none for you, you've had enough." He held it out of my reach and continued to grin wildly.
I put my hand on my hip and glared at him, and before I knew it, I was pushed back into the bathroom and against the door with Chaces lips on mine and his hands in my hair. I didn't stop him at first, but then the reality of what I was doing hit me and I pushed him off.
"What, I know you used to have a crush on me." He tried to kiss me again and I punched him in the face, I felt his nose break immediatly.
"I have a fiance who I love, who is the father of my son, and a damn good one at that." I shoved him away and opened the door. "Clean yourself up, you're covered in blood." I tried to fix my hair and see if I had any blood on me.
"Biitch!" Chace shouted after I walked out of the bathroom.
"You look frazzled." Mark laughed and took a sip of his beer. I huffed and shook my head. "What's wrong?" He asked, pushing a piece of hair behind my ear.
"Can we go, I'm drunk and tired." I stuck bottom lip out and sighed. Mark nodded and slammed his beer.
We said our goodbyes. When Mark saw Chace, he laughed.
"What happened to you?" Mark put his arm around my waist and pointed to Chace's face.
I glared at Chace, because I had kissed him back, and I did not want Mark to know that.
"Walked into a door." He shrugged and walked away.
Mark kept laughing and said something about muscles over brains. I couldn't carry a conversation with him, I was stuck in my head because I actually liked kissing Chace.
I should have stayed home.
