Well, yes... just about anything would be better than Crocs! We had a Crocs phase here on the coast also, as well as an Uggs phase. I didn't buy Crocs (tried them. Hated them) but I do own a pair of Uggs. They mostly gather dust in my closet. They are very warm, but terribly unflattering.
