Sorry for the crappy set. ;P
Disneyland has been so much fun! We saw the Aladdin show for the first time yesterday (Genie was hilarious!) and I got my picture taken with Minnie in my white and black polka dot dress. I think my top 3 favorite rides (in no particular order) are
1. Tower of Terror
Not only do I love the ride itself, but I love the details in the decor. And the employees in there do the most acting than on any other ride. They're amazing. They're not really supposed to talk to you casually because they have to stay in character, but once I was sitting on the ride and as he was going over the whole "check your seatbelt" thing, I was waving to him with both hands like a maniac. After a while, he looked me straight in the eye with a deadpan expression and did a weird little wave by wiggling his fingers. I flipped out!
2. Soarin' Over California
Oh, what can I say? It's so peaceful and epic at the same time. :)
3. Space Mountain
So exciting! It feels like you're flying through the stars! This is my brother's favorite ride.
I have to mention Indiana Jones. I LOVE screaming my little heart out and this ride. Despite the word 'screaming' in California Screamin', this is my favorite ride to scream on. I don't just scream randomly, I time it just right. I think it would awesome to be the girl in a movie that just screams. ;D
And last but not least, my brother got engaged!!! He didn't tell her he was even coming to Disneyland, so she had absolutely NO IDEA! Her parents led her into the Sleeping Beauty's castle walk-through, and then left her alone to walk all the way to the end. And there he was. She turned the corner and he was standing there in his white dress shirt and red tie, anxious to ask the love of his life to marry him. And she said 'YES!' :)
The funny part is that her dad said they'd be there at 10am, but they got a little lost and arrived at 11:30. My brother thought he'd wait there for her a half hour, but instead it was 2 hours! Poor guy. ;P
Also, she asked me to be a bridesmaid! Yay! :D
