For this necklace, supple silicone rubber is cut by water jet according to a computer simulated pattern. The result is an organic network of distorting ellipses, creating a sense of movement and tension. The Radiolaria Necklace is designed by Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg, whose work has been featured in galleries across the United States. Made using digital technique, the design of this necklace exhibits an innovative use of technology, a design principal celebrated in the Museum’s collection. A sliding closure allows for variable lengths. Hand-wash only.
