Design Philippe Starck, 1996. Polypropylene, wood. Made in Italy by Kartell. Kartell technology allows two materials that are by their nature incompatible to be harmoniously combined: plastic and wood. The Miss Trip chair has a plastic seat supported by beech hardwood, natural or dyed cherry legs. The back is also grafted onto the seat by simply applying pressure and the natural elasticity of the material offers a pleasant sensation of comfort. Miss Trip, ideal for any setting in the home, but also for restaurants and cafes, is characterised by elegance of design and ease of assembly. As one of the best-known contemporary designers in the world, Philippe Starck has placed honesty and integrity at the core of his designs producing quality products with longevity & durability. His work ranges from producing new classics of hotel design as seen in the Royalton & Paramount in New York, the Mondrian in L.A. And the Delano in Miami to projects with Taschen bookshops, the Bon restaurant chain and Target. His goal is to bring love and happiness to everyone's life through design. 16.5" W | 15.75" d | 33.5" h | seat: 18" h.
