Hey gurrls (or 30 + year old pedophiles), here is a little halloween tip for you :3
So, if you are Latina, you probably know that tale of "La Llorona" or the Weeping Woman. If not, here is basically that story;;
There is a beautiful woman by the named Maria (which is probably the most common name for a Latina, actually a popular name in general, so NO I am not La Llorona :3 ) killing her children by drowning them, in order to be with the man that she loved. When the man rejects her, she kills herself. Challenged at the pearly gates of heaven as to the where her children are, she is not permitted to enter the afterlife until she has found them. Maria is forced to wander the Earth for all eternity, searching in vain for her drowned children, with her constant weeping giving her the name "La Llorona".
In some versions of this story, La Llorona will kidnap wandering children who resemble her missing children, or children who disobey their parents. People who claim to have seen her say she appears at night or in the late evenings from rivers or oceans in Mexico. Some believe that those who hear the wails of La Llorona are marked for death. She is said to cry "Ay, mis hijos!" which means "Oh, my children!"
Soo... on with the tip!
-Face paint (white, grey, minty - zombie green, red etc)
-A wig (either black, or grey)
-Grim reaper cloak, or any black cloak really
-Modeling silicone compound (to make your wounds)
-Spatula (not like the ones for pancakes, the small ones, probably available at an art store)
Here is the video:
O1: Use white face paint, cover your face and neck area where it is not covered by the cloak. It doesn't need to be completely white (that would look weird, an you aren't supposed to be a clown :3 )
O2: Using any light blue-grey face paint, add that on as well to hollow out any port of your face, chest, etc
O3: Shade your collar bone, to make you look very skinny and frail, use a picture of a skeleton for inspiration (wtf? inspiration? that just sounds weird)
O4: Hollow out your cheek bones
O5: Use a darker purple face paint or eyeshadow on your eyes to make them look bruised and tired, use a sponge to blend and soften
O6: Add a bit of dark red eye shadow, and dark blue if you want a bruised look
O7: Add a bit of black eyeshadow on top and under you eyes
O8: Contour your nose with the black
O9: On a plastic plate, mix the silicone compound and apply on fore head where you want your wound, check the video out if you don't know what I mean
1O: Add black eye shadow in the wound, and if you like some dark red eye shadow if you don't cover your whole wound in blood properly
11: Apply some red eye shadow, blush might work too on your fore head around the wounds
12: With a sponge, apply some fake blood on your cheek, chest and anywhere else you like
13: If the blood is too bright, darken it with some black eyeshadow
14: Use black face paint on your lips
15: Fill wound in with a thicker fake blood with your spatula
16: Add some blood under you nose and anywhere else
17: Right before you go out apply some thinner blood to your wound and let it drip down naturally
Have a great Halloween!
