Braided chain and gros grain ribbon necklace with a brass and black fresh water pearls pendant. For Spring-Summer 2012, Alber Elbaz offered a both tailored and fluid collection that proffered modern ideas about strength, femininity, and wearability. For daywear, he paired high-wasted pencil skirts with oversized organza tees. His exaggerated shoulder tops were like an echo to the 80s and created utterly sculpted silhouettes. Adding a flirtatious touch to the Lanvin ladylike look, the skirts and dresses were stitched together loosely to create cutouts, and a hypnotic snake pattern appeared, as a reminder that the Lanvin woman can also be dangerous. Switching from a dark to a very "Easter Parade" color palette, the designer displayed a series of gorgeously draped sheer chiffon dresses, worn over bodysuits for a radically sexy evening look. In terms of accessories, the high-heeled strappy sandals and lady bags were paired with chokers, wing and crucifix pendants. Once again Albert Elbaz has proven that elegance is a weapon of seduction.
