Lauren Conrad Braided Bun♥
I LOVE this hairstlye and have wanted to know how to do it for a while. And I found out how : )
------------
You Will Need:
-Bobby Pins
-Ponytails/Elastics
-Hairspray
-Shine Serum (optional.)
-Blowdryer(if your hair needs to be dry)
---------------------------
1. For a shiny effect with slight hold, apply a glossing gel to damp hair and blow-dry.
2. Part the hair down the middle. Starting from one side of the part, loosely French braid the hair all the way down. Leave Out a little on the sides so it doesnt look so formal.Below i will tell you how to make a french braid!Do the same on the other side.
3. Leaving the two braids out, gather the hair from the crown down to the neck into a ponytail. Secure with an elastic band and twist hair around it, securing with bobby pins into the base of the pony.
4. Finish up by twisting and wrapping the two ends around the "bun" you created in the third step, using bobby pins to secure. And hairspray to secure.
HOW TO MAKE A FRENCH BRAID!
1. Start with the portion of hair from the forehead, back to the place you want the braid to start.
2. Separate this top section into 3 parts to begin the braid.
3. First take the right section over the middle section... it is now the new middle and the original middle section is the new right.
4. Now take the left section and bring it over the middle section (new middle, old right) and make it the new middle section.
5. Now, to make it a French braid, before you cross the current right section again, take a small section from the right side of the remaining hair not yet being used and make it part of the right section of hair and then cross it over the middle section.
6. Repeat the same step on the left side with some of the yet to be used left side hair.
7. Continue these steps alternating sides, being careful not to create lumps and pulling the hair tight so that it stays in place.
8. For variation you can do a raised French braid by taking the hair sections right UNDER middle then left UNDER middle each time instead of over.
***french braids are hard and take alot of practice so be patient.
hope you gils like this tip : )
