We have a new contest every week. We also choose a set from those submitted to Poly My World to spotlight every week. This group is open to everyone and we celebrate the differences in our Polyvorians from all over the world. Our goal is to be welcoming, accepting and supportive to all. We are founded on fashion but all types of sets are welcome as long as they are "clean" and not offensive.

Support the campaign "BE ORIGINAL" . Do not copy sets of other members (copy this message in your page to support this campaign!)

Maison de la mode

Maison de la mode

Sophisticated, polished, always classy, but never pretentious.

Today's accidental fashion icons are mostly found working the streets with their original, and sometimes irrelevant looks. But fashion is all about being different and thinking out of the box.

So pick your catwalk of choice- whether you are in Paris, New York, Milan, Tokyo or Manila- confidence is all you need chained around your neck to complete your outfit.

We would love to see all your different perceptions of style of what represents you individually. So you're always welcomed to join and we will start having regular contests after we have reached 50 members.

This group's contests consists of several broad themes as follows ;

1) How would you wear:
- a button down blouse
- knits
- leather skirts
- maxi dresses/ skirts
- denim
- metallics
- blazers
- knee length skirts

2) Trend Report :
- Floral Prints
- Silk Pants
- Mixing Prints
- Minimalism
- Printed Outwear
- Denim on denim
- Ladylike Jackets
- Suits
- Neons
- Monochrome
- Psychedelic Furs
- 60's
- Spotty Love(Polka Dots)
- Pale Colours

3) Brands we love:
- Acne
- Alexander Wang
- Balenciaga
- 3.1 Phillip Lim
- Rag & Bone
- Elizabeth & James
- Chanel
- Calvin Klien
- Proenza Schouler
- Celine

Suggestions within any of these 3 catagories are open and encouraged too, and I might just put it up as one of our many future contests :)

Hope you enjoy all the regular contests!

For ALL CONTESTS, things I look for:

~Overall relevance to the contest topic.
~Color scheme should be aesthetically pleasing.
~Fabrics and styles should compliment each other.
~Location, placement, & proportion of items is key.
~Showcase the OUTFIT, not text or other pictures.
~Appropriate choice of accessories.
~Try not to clutter your sets: "Less is More".
~Last but not least.... the "WOW" factor.
Keep it up girls. You all have GORGEOUS fashion sense!! I look forward to our future contests!

How would you wear : A Structured Dress

How would you wear : A Structured Dress

123 sets from 21 members. Ended 4 years ago.
Polished, crisp and defined.
These are the qualities that make up a structured dress : the type of dresses that make you demand attention at the workplace (in a good way, of course). Never over-revealing but not a prude, the structured dress sure knows how to make you feel like a power woman.
