“A SAVIOR HAS BEEN BORN TO MY PEOPLE” VI
How could a little baby girl born in a cabin in Utah in 1862 be a Savior to the French people? Lerona wrote that when her father saw that his newborn daughter resembled his French family, he exclaimed: “A Savior has been born to my people.” Lerona continues, “Little did he realize that some fifty-six years later he would come as a visitor from the spirit world and variably commission me as such. So, in a way, my mission was cut out for me from my birth.”
[Here Lerona refers to one of her most vivid visions – one that comes much later in her-story. Just as interestingly, she hints at the Mormon temple practice of baptizing deceased ancestors. See Lerona’sLIFE # 25 for an explanation.]
