THE GREAT DAY OF SEPARATION* [Take Seven]
In 1885 my great grandmother Lerona wrote about her vision in which she visited the Spirit World with her deceased mother.
“At this juncture, I became curious to know something about the Savior and accordingly inquired of mother. She informed me that she had not seen the Christ nor been where He is. They were preparing for the great and terrible day of His coming, and were looking forward to that event the same as we are upon the earth. This surprised me as I had learned the dead go immediately to the bar of God to be judged, and supposed the righteous were permitted to see Him and dwell in His presence. The spirit world I learned is simply a step nearer Heaven than is this life—a little farther advanced.”
