HOW TO FIND A LOST COW, III (outtake)
“I learned early that if I wanted to find a lost article and would pray about it, I could go straight to the place and get it . . . On another occasion I was sent to hunt our family cow, which I frequently did. After hunting unsuccessfully I was about to give up and return home without the cow, when I thought to pray about it. I knelt and prayed. No sooner had I lifted my head than the cow stood up in a clump of bushes where she had been lying. Gleefully I herded her home and related to mother my happy experience.”
[I found another cow-story collage in my drafts – and I had to publish it. Actually, I’m ‘vamping ‘til ready’ – next comes a long couple of paragraphs of Lerona’s story that I’m not sure how to present.]
