The Nelson Eye Clock (1957) is one of more than 150 clocks designed by George Nelson Associates for the Howard Miller Clock Company, which sold them from 1949 into the 1980s. Nelson Associates, first launched as a studio by George Nelson in 1947 in New York City, employed some of the most celebrated designers of the time, including Irving Harper, Don Chadwick and John Pile, all of whom contributed to the clocks. De Pree. A bit of family history: De Pree also founded the Herman Miller Clock Company in 1926 but turned it over in 1937 to Howard, who renamed it. As for the identity of Herman Miller, he was Howard’s father and De Pree’s father-in-law. The Miller companies are not affiliated but stand across the street from one another in Zeeland, Mich. • Doctor Who TARDIS Projection Alarm Clock
    thinkgeek.com
Generally, if you're waiting for someone (like Godot or the Doctor) it's best not to stare at a clock. Everyone knows time moves more slowly when you're staring at the clock. It's just like boiling water or waiting on the next George R.R. Martin novel. You can't make it happen faster by watching it. But you're a loner, a rebel, and you're not going to follow the rules.
  • 1960s Vintage Coca Cola Lighted Clock
    chairish.com
This is a groovy 1960s electric, lighted wall clock. We imagine it hanging in a retro diner, like the on Happy Days! It uses both neon and incandescent bulbs. There is a light spatter residue on the white and clear plastic panels, not the red. It is not very evident. It is other wise excellent. Along with its very Mid-Century pattern design, it keeps good time. Just think where you might find a spot for it - we think it'd be perfect in the kitchen! It has a 12 foot white cord.
