The Literary Bin

So I love to read. Like ALL THE TIME. And here is a collection of awesome books you should probably read. I'm really into dystopian stuff and probably sci-fi mixed with action.

They're sort of placed in order of awesomeness and the first 6 books are like MY ABSOLUTE OMG FAVOURITES!!! I cannot explain how awesome the first 6 books are. JUST READ THEM!!!!!

I don't really like chic-flicks or romance novels because I find them really typical and all the same which is why I love action and plot lines that you don't see coming!

Also feel free to give suggestions, I need new books to read :D :D

Hey I was looking at your books for any future recommendations!
I forgot to answer your last question: I like any genre, but I think I read a lot of YA fantasy (I realised recently). I used to like romance but now I do find them very repetitive. I think I was a bit harsh on my review on the Time Traveler's Wife! It was all right, not my type of story though. Ahaha no I have not read any Sarah Dessen yet! I'm not sure about it, I'm not a huge fan of chick-lit books. I hear a lot of good things about the Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater :) xo

@bittersweet89 What genre of books do you like? Seems to me that you read a bit of everything ahha. Why didn't you like Time Traveller? And I'm hoping you've read Sarah Dessen by now :D And googling that book right now!

you should try reading this book called "beyond the nerd yonder" really sweet. and "the other side of the island" are good. If you can handle dry books try ones by DOUGLAS ADAMS and the original "sherlock holmes". Kat Falls "rip Tide" and "dark life r really good"

Great collection! thanks for sending me the link ;) I plan on reading Divergent next and Sarah Dessen's books are on my Goodreads to-read list :) I love Perks of being a wallflower - all time favourite! I hated the Time Traveler's Wife... I've never read Harry Potter, but I am considering on reading it. My friend recommended Elsewhere to me :) I like big books and I cannot lie too lol :)
I recommend Sempre by JM Darhower - this is an absolutely amazing book :)

I've been hooked onto Wattpad for ages now, haven't read a proper book in a long time.. I think the last one was A Thousand Splendid Suns - That book was amazing, I couldn't put it down :)
But I think I'll give some of these a go, I need to get back into the swing of reading books, used to do it all the time!

If you like dystopia's have you read Aldous Huxley's Brave New World? It's a classic what would happen in the future kind of book, written in 1931, but still super famous. :)

@anashe Thank you!! I love YA except sometimes it gets so repetitive with the whole vampires, werewolves, angles, nephelim etc. etc. Thank you for the offer but I hate reading on the computer. I just find it so frustrating!! You can never beat a good old big book. And I love the smell of books. It's weird I know but I just love the feeling of a book in my hand :)

@ashley-rebecca At least four of my top 6 books are being turned into movies and I hate it. Yeah I know that The Hunger Games turned out awesome but I'm always so worried that they will get all the characters wrong and nothing like how I imagined. Aaaargh I don't want any more book-to-movie transformations!!!

i LOVE (please place much emphasis on the word love when you read this) teen fictions. Even better when they make them into a movie... i'm the very few that enjoys seeing my visions of the characters I have painted in my brain come alive on camera. =) I sometimes like scary novels. =)
