Loll Designs Cabrio Lounge Chair
The inspiration for the Cabrio Lounge Chair (2009) came from a desire to strip away excess and greatly simplify the overly complicated Adirondack chairs that are found on the market today. Designers Greg Benson and Jeff Tally point out how the Cabrio’s single-plank back and wide arms are a nod toward the Westport chair, which was the inspiration for and predates the Adirondack. With a seat that’s low to the ground and generously angled, Cabrio is built for casual lounging and enjoying the outdoors. This chair is made of recycled plastic reclaimed from post-consumer goods like milk jugs, which can be recycled again if necessary. Since Loll was founded in 2006, its use of recycledhas kept millions of milk jugs out of landfills. The fade-resistant, waterproof, maintenance-free Cabrio Lounge Chair is made to last for years. It’s no coincidence that it received a 2009 Good Design® Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. Ships flat to save on packing; simple assembly required (Allen wrench included). Made in U.S.A.
