You obviously don't live around here. ;-) Trust me, when I wear heels or my Lucky cowboy boots (which are my every day shoes), I'm often the ONLY person in the room, sometimes the only one in Northampton, wearing something like this. Think Converse, Birkenstocks, Bjorn (especially clogs) - & that's what many people around here live in. WMass is a great place to live & there are really wonderful people here - but a fashion capital it ain't!
