Mad Hatter

The fourth in my Alice in Wonderland series. This outfit is inspired by the original Mad Hatter as well as American McGee's version. Ripped black leggings, a striped skirt, and a red shirt create the foundation for a slightly crazy looking outfit. The high heels that are inspired by lace up shoes and the bow tie add a manly yet fashionable edge. Of course you can't forget the Mad Hatter's signature piece, his top hat! Just a fun fact, the phrase, "Mad as a Hatter," comes from the fact that people who used to make hats (the hatters) would use mercury to bend leather brims and shape the hats to their liking. After spending all that time around mercury, hatters were known to go insane. Hence, if someone was crazy they were "Mad as a hatter".
