    This is an image made using an old 4 x 5 monorail film camera and lens. The negative was hand processed in the artist's darkroom and scanned in with an epson flat bed scanner. The detail is outstanding and the film gives the image an almost 3 dimensional look. The pigment print is printed on an archival rag paper using an high quality 12 ink printer. This is a limited edition of 250 prints, signed and numbered. There is a 0.25" border around each edge. Dimensions refer to image size.

The black and white pictures are reproduced in a four-color separation process, with two blacks and two shades of grey; the density of the blacks achieved rivals that of the finest silver gelatin prints. GENESIS was printed and bound in an Italian workshop utilizing traditional craftsmanship techniques that are unique worldwide in this field, using Italian Cialinen fabric for the cover. The Ando book stand was hand made in Spain, and the leather originates from Britain.

Using this camera, and special filter, the picture is created with infrared light alone, making foliage very light and imparting a unique appearance. The is picture was part of an entry in the International Photography Awards (Lucies), which won first place in the flora division in 2008. The print is made on 16.5X23.5 inch mat surface fine art paper and printed with archival pigment inks which have an an almost indefinite life. The print is titled and numbered on the lower left, and signed and dated on the lower right, in pencil. It is one of an edition of 50 plus 2 artist's proofs.
