Magno - Klock Table Clock

Klock is a small, handmade table clock produced by Magno in Indonesia under ecologic and fair conditions. Every Klock is a high quality unicum that emerges directly from the designer Singgih Susilo Kartono’s workshop. Wood out of plantation cultivation is used as material for Klock. The bright parts of the clock are made out of pines, the dark ones out of rosewood. Klock is equipped with an electric quartz clockwork and runs with a commercially available AA battery. The production of the Magno products takes place directly in the Singgih Susilo Kartono workshop in Central Java (Indonesia). What initially began as temporary solution, did meanwhile develop to a small production plant for twelve young wood craftsmen. Besides the apprehension of a determinate work, the workshop saves the livelihood of many families in Tamanggung. 5% of the outcomes from the Klock table Clock did furthermore go into the construction of a “Creativity Centre” for town-children. For the maintenance of the wooden Klock we suggest to rub the table clock from time to time with a drop of pine or teak oil. Please furthermore note that every clock is totally handmade by local wood in Indonesia. Small dispersions in the appearance are therefore possible.
