JILL MALEK With a background in graphic design, Jill Malek specializes in print design for invitations, customized stationery, book layouts and web sites. Her work has an inherent organic quality that showcases the art of movement, layering and refined colors. In 2006, she decided to expand her love of printed matter to wallpaper design. By enhancing spaces with textures and repeat patterns, she could apply her experience acquired from graphic design to the art direction of interior spaces. A pattern created for a wedding invitation could be transformed into a lobby design for a boutique hotel. In the summer of 2007, Jill Malek opened her own company in Brooklyn, New York, dedicated to luscious print and wallpaper designs. Merging the two worlds of graphic and interior design, her clientele includes fashion designers, architects, and other professionals in the design community.
