MARC JACOBS Dress

Tweed sheath style dress with splashed sequin front and collar, floral print back, tweed collar and pockets with embroidered stones, closure by zip at back, thin blue sequined belt. Yellow, cobalt-blue, vermillion red, orange, purple, pink... Marc Jacobs inaugurates our summer with a very colourful pre-collection. Nostalgic of an old-time fashion, he referred to the 50's, 60's and 70's and found inspiration in the work of artist Cindy Sherman, in particular in her colored clown pictures. He mixes prints, floral patterns, polka dots, stripes on corolla skirts, oversized pants, long tunics, high-waisted shorts and sequined tops. To perfect the look, no matter the shape of the bag : clutch, tote bag or bucket bag, it has to be colored and contrasted with the dress as the leather platform sandals.
