MARC JACOBS Dress

V-neck crepe-de-chine dress in all over multicolored plaid and polka dot print, subtle waterfall detailing at front with contrast white piping, pleated skirt, thin white belt, slit at the front of skirt. Yellow, cobalt-blue, vermillion red, orange, purple, pink... Marc Jacobs inaugurates our summer with a very colourful pre-collection. Nostalgic of an old-time fashion, he referred to the 50's, 60's and 70's and found inspiration in the work of artist Cindy Sherman, in particular in her colored clown pictures. He mixes prints, floral patterns, polka dots, stripes on corolla skirts, oversized pants, long tunics, high-waisted shorts and sequined tops. To perfect the look, no matter the shape of the bag : clutch, tote bag or bucket bag, it has to be colored and contrasted with the dress as the leather platform sandals.
