Marie Antionette - Rococo Noir

See the "Light" collection here:http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/collection?id=1749439

Marie Antoinette was the beautiful Queen of France who became a symbol for the wanton extravagance of the 18th century monarchy, and was stripped of her riches and finery, imprisoned and beheaded by her own subjects during the French Revolution that began in 1789.

This collection showcases images, paintings and clothing that either depict or remind me of Marie Antoinette. Most pieces are Rococo though some have a bit of the Baroque - they're quite similar. :)

This collection shows the darker side of luxe.

@rawrat Thank you. I love rococo and baroque so much that most my furniture is inspired or from then!. :) You may like my other collection that's a "ligher" take on this theme: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/collection?id=1749439
