In her 2011 design, artist Sanna Annukka pays homage to Raanu—a traditional Finnish woven textile defined by vibrant folkloric patterns. Historically, these folk art weavings covered tent-like dwellings of the Sami natives of Finland. Symbolizing nature and the changing seasons, the graphic illustrations of Sanna's Raanu pattern pop in an optic, linear composition. Pattern designed by Sanna Annukka; 2011. 100% organic cotton.
