My fingers gripped on to the pure gold trident that was placed strategically in my hand, my azure eyes locked on the prize that would soon be my dinner. I narrow my eyes, calculating the precise moment to spear it. And just when I'm about to strike my trident down in to the water, a striking white bird splashes into the water, scaring the shimmering fish away. ``Damn it`` I mutter before extending my arm, the trident working with me as if it was connected, spearing the bird quickly and cleanly.
