Tell us about yourself.
I'm Agnes and I'm (almost) 25 years old. I'm studying for my master's degree in cultural and linguistic sciences and working as an interpreter, photographer and freelance stylist. My current [job] is working at a PR agency representing fashion brands. I love simplicity and the less-is-more fashion philosophy, so my everyday outfit is effortless and simple, with a twist of something different. I'm not a big fan of trends; actually, I prefer timeless fashion so I always buy things that I can wear until they fall apart. Can't say what the key pieces of my everyday look are, but I never leave home without my two Kenzo rings I got from my two beloved men -- my father and my boyfriend.

Where do you live, and what trends are big there?
I'm a real cosmopolitan! I'm very open-minded and I like to change places and countries. I've been almost everywhere and I still can't get enough travel. As to my permanent homes, I can name France and the Czech Republic, where I have spent the most time, and where I know the local culture and the fashion taste pretty well.

The French style is my everyday inspiration. Even if it's simple, it's always smart, always surprising. It's not about trends, it's about unique personal expression! From my point of view, the key is to appreciate simplicity and minimalism and always add something new to it, some little detail that describes who you are and what you like. That's why people always ask how to dress like the French, and that's why it's something very difficult to copy.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?
I can't say there is a designer I don't like. But for sure, there are designers I LOVE and would love to wear. As I said, I love simplicity but I also love interesting details on clothes and shoes that make the style timeless. I must say, one of my biggest loves is the Parisian fashion designer Vanessa Bruno because I feel we totally share the same taste. She called her own style "urban poetry" and I can't agree more with this description. I have the same feelings about Elizabeth and James, Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney, Zadig&Voltaire, Comptoirs des Cotonniers, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Acne. As for shopping for clothes online, I definitely choose La Garçonne, because it pulls together many fabulous fashion designers and their ready-to-wear pieces for everyday looks.

My favorite bag designers? Jérôme Dreyfuss (the Johan bag is just WOW). I also recently discovered Pauric Sweeney and his Rio bag (aaaaaah!). And my lifetime love is Antik Batik. For accessories, my soulmate is definitely Kenzo. I have three rings and I won’t take them off. They match every outfit and because they were given as presents from my loved ones, I'm sure they bring luck to me. My longtime wish is to buy a Kenzo scarf, but I'm still waiting to pick the right one ‘cause they are all such temptations.

Which celebrity do you think has great style and why?
I must admit, I don't follow any particular celebrity's style. My fashion icons are more Garance Doré, Yasmin Sewell, Viviana Volpicella and Inès de la Fressange. They all are so radiant that they could wear anything they want and always look fantastic.

What are your personal aspirations/goals?
Working in fashion is my dream, though I know that's such a cliché. The most interesting job seems, to me, to work as a stylist for some high fashion magazine, or I can imagine working for some of my favorite French fashion designers, or in a fashion house in a marketing department, or as a buyer … I would give all my heart and creative mind to it!

My other, non-fashionable goal is to work for some international humanitarian organization. Compared to fashion, this dream must seem silly, but helping people is my lifelong goal and even if I could work in the fashion industry, I would always care about the world and try to prevent the wrongful impact of the fashion industry (like child labor, etc.) because I'm sure that fashion can exist without harming anyone.

How has Polyvore affected your life?
So much! First of all, it's my addiction. Second of all, it's my mind’s playground. And third of all, it's a place of inspiration. Just look at all of these creative people and you're immediately motivated to work on yourself. Also, because of Polyvore, I've been offered so many interesting jobs, including the one I'm currently working in … so thank you, Polyvore!

Oh, wow. You've been to the Czech republic? I'm from Slovakia and I spent summer holidays in Brno last year (I've got a close family there. I'm planning to visit them this year as well). I'm so in love with the city and I hopefully will get a chance to study in college there. What cities did you visit? :-) Anyway, your Polyvore work is brilliant. :-))
