Thousand white seagulls fly from the beach
Spread to the world something they must know
A message from the past had been sent
To be known and remembered

When I'm standing on the ocean shore
And the sand touch my feet under it
I hear your running steps around me
To remind me of the day

A long time ago, far in the past
Someone unknown came to these places
To save the world and save the future
Left all happiness behind

He lie down alone under the ground
Covered by the yellow flower fields
A message from the past he had sent
To be known and remembered

That was a poem I created to remind about the Normandy Invasion in 1944. Exactly it's about a message that had been sent from the past by all people who involved in the WW 2 for us to make peace in the world.
