  • Gold Coin Chain Headpiece, Chain Headdress, Boho Chain Headpiece, Bohemian Headpiece, Hippie Hair Jewellery
    SOLD OUT: More info
Want to channel your inner boho Queen? Well with this gold coin chain headpiece you most certainly can! Inspired by Greek goddesses and the fabulous modern boho style, I created this headpiece which is so timeless. It is made with lots of sturdy gold coins which hang elegantly from a layered gold chain, with one chain through the centre and two front chains which meet at the back. This headpiece has a clasp at the back so it is fully adjustable and fits all! I can, of course, custom make the fit if you would rather have it enlarged or smaller. Please note that due to the hard to find chain for this piece it varies piece by piece, however this makes it all the more special and unique! Style your gold coin chain headpiece with a white maxi dress and loose waves for a true Greek goddess look! Or to jazz up your winter outfit with your hair straight against black or navy. Would you like to see some more chain headpiece designs? I am proud to offer a huge variety of chain headdresses for every style and age and you can shop them here:

You may look at this picture and think, “how would I ever style my hair to look like that”. The truth is, it’s not that difficult to achieve this hair style, and all you need to do is get to know your hair and its ways and figure out the best styling tools to suit your length and preferred style. If you’ve got super long hair like the girl in the picture, to achieve this look you want to opt for a large-barrelled curling tong to create big, volumous waves. If you’ve got shorter hair, opt for a slightly smaller barrel (I’d recommend around 30mm for med-long hair, if your hair comes below the bra you can opt for a larger barrel). The key is to get the base right, and then you can add curls into the hair after. Start off by blow-drying your hair. Prep with a smoothing serum first, then work a volumising spray or lotion into the roots. Rough dry your hair and top upside-down whilst drying to create added volume. When your hair is around 70% dry, section off your hair so you can work from the bottom upwards using a large round brush. Smooth and wrap the hair section by section around the round brush, and use the hair dryer to heat the brush. Curl the brush around your hair, leave for a few seconds, bringing the brush up towards the ceiling to add volume to the roots. Really create volume at the roots using the brush, and work through your hair to the top. Alternatively, if you don’t have time to work through all of your hair, blow dry the top section using a round brush, lifting the hair up to create volume underneath. Then, when the hair is dry, use a large-barrelled hair tong to create tousled waves. When you’ve worked through all of your hair, spray your hair with hairspray, shake your hair and run your fingers through and spray some hairspray on your fingertips to work into the roots. This is a great tip for creating volume fast but avoiding it looking greasy, as you can work your fingers underneath your top layer to add hidden volume! Wear your parting natural and you’re ready to rock with this gorgeous style. The key is to keep it loose and messy, so don’t be afraid to shake your hair upside down and work those fingers into your roots to create ultimate sexy volume.
