    Marsh & Company Opened In The San Francisco Area In 1876. Originally Selling Asian Art, The Company Soon Branched Out Into Jewelry. From The Late 1940Â�Ͽ½S To The Early 1960Â�Ͽ½S The Company Became Well Known For Its Use Of Oxidized Steel In Making Their Unique Pieces Of Jewelry!These Vintage (Ca1950's) Marsh & Company Earrings Are A Simply Beautiful Example Of The Company's Unique Style! Their Asian-Inspired Design Has A Gorgeous Floral Motif With A Bold Mixed Metals Fabrication. The Earrings Are Made Of Blackened Steel, Which Has Been Oxidized To Create Its Wonderfully Dark, Matte Finish. The Panel Of Blackened Steel Has A Flat Surface Which Curls And Dips Inward At The Middle. An 18Kt Yellow Gold Flower Design Is Riveted To The Front Surface Of Each Earring, Depicting An Upside Down Flower With Delicate Petals, Leaves, And A Curved Stem. Two 18Kt Yellow Gold Balls Hang From The Flower And Dangle In The Open Space Where The Steel Curves Inwards. A Delicate Gold Ball Adorns Each Side Of The Bottom Edge Of The Earrings.
