I slowly peaked my head around the corner, checking if my date was already there. To say I was nervous, was an understatement. I have actually never been this nervous about a guy.

Liam stood, leaning against the front of the laundry mat building. He had his head down, looking at his phone, causing his light brown loose curls to cover his handsome face.

Taking a deep breath, I decided to suck it up and not just sit here any longer. Slowly I shuffled my way around the corner, smoothing my pink blouse nervously. He looked up from his phone as I was approaching him. A big smile found its way into his face and he slipped his phone into his pocket.

"Hi Mia. You look great. " he said blushing, which made me start to blush too. We probably looked like idiots, just blushing at each other. I smiled at him.

"Thanks!" I said brightly and we started walking down the side walk in silence and I decided to break the awkwardness.

"So.. Where are we going?" I asked and blushed again as my hand accidentally brushed against the smooth back of his. Looks like I'm going to be blushing all night.

"Oh umm.. You know.. I'm not sure. I was gunna ask you to choose, but it has to be near the beach. " he said clearing his throat, his cheeks red. I smiled to my self, knowing exactly where I was gunna take him.

We walked for about ten minutes, getting to know each other. I found out that he is actually from the UK and he is part of a famous band from the UK. That's actually really impressive.

He was in the middle of a sentence when I stopped walking, standing in front of a huge maple tree. He stopped talking and looked at me confused. I smiled and grabbed the lowest branch of the tree.

"Follow me." I said pulling myself off the ground and planted my feet on the branch, standing up and climbing up a few. I looked down and Liam was trailing right behind me, a huge smile on his face. I smiled down at him and turned around climbing further up, thankful the the girls picked out shorts and converse in stead of the skirt they originally planed on putting me in.

I made it up the tree to where I wanted to be and sat down on the strong branch, swinging my feet. Liam sat down next to me and looked at me smiling.

"Now what?" He asked, laughing a little bit. I smirked at him and held onto the trunk as I leaned forward. He grabbed onto my waist, and I looked at him.

"I-I just don't want you to fall." He stuttered and blushed. I smiled at him and leaned forward more and pushed the branches in front of us to the side and hooked them onto the ones next to them. I leaned back and looked out. In front of us was a perfect view of the sun setting over the ocean.

"It's beautiful." Liam said, letting go of me but leaving one arm wrapped around my waist. I leaned into his body and crossed my ankles.

"Yeah. I love it up here. I used to come here all the time... It's a great place to think." I said leaning my head on his shoulder, feeling the cool breeze run through my hair.

"I like it up here too." He said, tightening his grip around me. We sat in silence as we watched the sky blend into colors of pink and orange, enjoying each others presents.

"Do you think we could come here again? Together?" Liam asked slowly. I smiled and looked up at him.

"I would really like that." I said sweetly, looking back at the sinking sun. He tightened his grip again and I leaned into him more. I never want this moment to end.
