Design by Toshiyuki Kita, 2006. Made in Italy by Moroso. As a follow-up to his revolutionary geomorphic Saruyama project (1967), designer Toshiyuki Kita has expanded the design to include an "archipelago" of independent islands made up of small seats and tables that can live together or independently of each other, at the same time maintaining the organic aesthetic features and function of his original design. Suitable for smaller spaces, the Saruyama Island Armchair is made with injected polyurethane foam over an internal steel frame on a hardwood base. Select from an extensive palette of upholstery options.
