    Mountain Force Apex Jacket
As the name would suggest, the Mountain Force Men's Apex Jacket was designed for the skier who demands the pinnacle in performance and style. Its sleek minimalist look belies innovative and thoughtful construction that will ensure you stay warm, dry, and focused on the run ahead. The outer fabric and lining are both engineered with 4-way stretch so they move seamlessly with your every motion, ensuring total mobility whether you're skiing through tight trees or arcing elegant carves on your favorite groomed run. Besides providing complete protection from snow and slush, the Schoeller c_change membrane reacts to changes in temperature to keep you comfortable. When things start getting hot and sweaty, the pores in the membrane open up to allow more water vapor to escape. There's also a Schoeller PCM lining, which contains countless tiny capsules that react to differences in temperature. When this happens, they change their state from solid to liquid, in which case heat is stored, or from liquid to solid, in order to release the stored heat in a cold environment. They thus compensate for excessively warm or cold temperatures to produce a comfortable personal climate. And if all that wasn't enough, the CM Ceramic membrane is embedded with heat-reflecting ceramic particles that help retain precious body heat, adding warmth without additional bulk.

  • Mountain Force Rider Jacket
    backcountry.com
    Mountain Force Rider Jacket
The Mountain Force Men's Rider Jacket has a harmonious blend of prominent styling, the utmost protection, and an unbeatable ski performance. Its CM ceramic membrane combines heat-reflective warmth with some of the best waterproof breathable ratings available; pair that with the jacket's superlight insulation, and you'll be able to ski in this jacket comfortably from fall to spring. What separates the Rider Jacket from most ski jackets is the shell's incredible stretch. Most waterproof breathable membranes prevent jackets from having any significant amount of stretch, but Mountain Force somehow gave the shell and incredible four-way stretch despite its ridiculously high waterproof breathable protection. Mountain Force also added a stretchy Schoeller lining for enhanced breathability, moisture management, and overall comfort. Since the Rider has such a stretchy shell, Mountain Force tailored the jacket in a slimmer design that won't inhibit your mobility. In spite of its sleek fit, the Rider still leaves room for layering in winter's most freezing weather. The jacket also features multiple zippers at the sleeves and chest for air-circulated ventilation. The powder skirt adjusts, removes, and connects to Mountain Force's ski pants for complete coverage. There are multiple adjustments at the hood, and you can remove it or snap it back. The zippered cuffs enhance the jacket's overall tailored design, and there are internal gaiters with thumbholes. Mountain Force added a surprising amount of pockets for ski passes, valuables, goggles, and electronics.
