♥ MISS PIGGY ♥
Ingredients
1 box cake mix (bake as directed on box for 13x9 cake)
1 16 oz can of ready made frosting
Wax paper
Baking sheets
Peach candy coating
White candy coating
Yellow, white and peanut butter candy coating
White licorice buttons (from licorice bridge mix)
White chewy locorice candies (such as Good & Plenty) with ends cut off
White mint lentils
Pink, peach, blue and black edible ink pens
Toothpicks
Paper lollipop sticks
Styrofoam block
Directions
1. After cake is baked and cooled completely, crumble into a large bowl.
2. With a large spoon, mix thoroughly with about 3/4 of the can of frosting. You won't need the rest.
3. Roll mixture into quarter size cake balls and place on a wax paper covered baking sheet.
4. Place cake balls in the freezer for about 15 minutes to firm up. You can transfer them to the refrigerator to keep chilled and avoid freezing.
5. When they are firm, shape half of the cake balls to resemble Miss Piggy's head. First, reshape into an oval. Then pinch the top and bottom of the left and right side. To help with the shaping, place a licorice button, round side down in the center. This will help form her cheeks. Then insert the side of a candy coating wafer to form an indentation for her mouth.
6. Melt peach candy coating together with some white candy coating to achieve a lighter shade. Melt candy coating in a heat-proof plastic bowl so that the coating is at three to four inches deep for easier dipping. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals on low, stirring in between. Repeat until melted and smooth.
7. Then dip the rounded side of the licorice button in coating and place on Miss Piggy's face for her snout. Dip two prepared white chewy licorice candies in melted coating and insert position for her ears.
8. Repeat with remaining shaped cake balls and return the cake pops to the refrigerator to chill and maintain firmness before dipping.
9. Remove a couple of shaped cake balls from the refrigerator at a time to work with.
10. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted coating and insert into the bottom of Miss Piggy's head. Carefully dip the entire cake pop with ears and snout attached into the bowl of melted candy coating. Dip and remove in one motion without stirring. Make sure the entire cake ball is covered. Using a deep bowl is helpful here. If your coating is too thick, you can add a little vegetable oil or shortening to help thin it and make it easier to work with.
11. Remove and allow any excess coating to fall off the pop and back into the bowl.
12. Before the coating sets, attach two white mint lentil candies in position for the eyes. Repeat with the remaining Miss Piggy cake pops.
13. Place in a styrofoam block to dry.
14. Here's an example of how the candies are packaged, but you could also use chocolate white-shelled candies (such as M&M's) if these are hard to find. Miss Piggy's eyes will just be a bit rounder.
15. When dry, use pink and blue edible ink pens to draw on the eye details.
16. Use a black edible ink pen to finish off the eyes and eyelashes.
17. Use a peach edible ink pen to draw details on her snout and ears and a pink edible ink pen to draw her mouth.
18. To create the color for her hair, melt yellow, white and peanut butter or butterscotch candy melts together to achieve her beige blonde locks. (For every peanut butter candy coating wafer, use three yellow and three white wafers.)
19. Let the coating set for a few minutes to cool and thicken. Then use a toothpick to apply coating for hair.
20. Once you apply an entire layer, let it dry, so you can apply more coating on top to build up the fullness of her hair. Apply the coating with your toothpick in away that resembles curls by dragging the along the contour of her face and then towards the back of her head.
21. Keep layering the coating on until her hair is full enough. Let dry completely in a styrofoam block.
22. You can wrap in treat bags tied with a ribbon and/or store them on the counter or in an airtight container.

5. Place cake balls in the freezer for about 15 minutes to firm up. You can transfer them to the refrigerator to keep chilled and avoid freezing.
6. When they are firm, shape the cake balls to resemble Kermit's head. Start out by shaping them to look like a teardrop.
7. Use a picture of Kermit as a guide to help shape the cake ball. You can also use a lollipop stick to help shape the mouth. Press the stick into the pointed end of the teardrop shape to make an opening in the mouth. Continue shaping to form an open mouth with a defined top and bottom.
8. Return the cake pops to the refrigerator to maintain firmness.
9. Melt green candy coating in a heat-proof plastic bowl so that the coating is at three to four inches deep for easier dipping. You can also add a little white candy coating when heating to create a lighter shade of green. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals on low, stirring in between. Repeat until melted and smooth.
10. Remove a couple of shaped cake balls from the refrigerator at a time to work with.
11. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted green candy coating and insert stick into the bottom of Kermit's head. Dip the entire cake pop into the bowl of melted candy coating. Dip and remove in one motion without stirring. Make sure the entire cake ball is covered. Using a deep bowl is helpful here. 16. Use a toothpick to work red coating around sprinkle if necessary.
17. When dry, use a toothpick to place a small amount of green candy coating around the bottom of Kermit's head and place four green diamond sprinkles around the stick to form Kermit's collar.
18. Use a black edible ink pen to draw details on the eyes.
19. Let dry completely.
♥ FOZZIE BEAR ♥
Ingredients
1 box cake mix (bake as directed on box for 13x9 cake)
1 16 oz can of ready made frosting
Wax paper
Baking sheets
Orange candy coating
Chocolate candy coating
Red candy coating wafers (with about 1/5 cut off)
Candy eyes
Small round candy with pink shell (such as pink Sixlets)
Pink jumbo confetti sprinkles (with about 1/4 broken off)
Mini chocolate peanut butter candies (such as Reese's Minis)
Peanut butter candies (such as Peanut Butter M&M's)
Red edible ink pen
Toothpicks
Paper lollipop sticks
Squeeze bottle
Styrofoam block
Directions
1. After cake is baked and cooled completely, crumble into a large bowl.
2. With a large spoon, mix thoroughly with about 3/4 of the can of frosting. You won't need the rest.
3. Roll mixture into quarter size cake balls and place on a wax paper covered baking sheet.
4. Place cake balls in the freezer for about 15 minutes to firm up. You can transfer them to the refrigerator to keep chilled and avoid freezing.
5. When they are firm, shape the cake balls to resemble Fozzie's head. It should resemble a pear shape with the top of the ball smaller than the bottom. You can use a picture of Fozzie as a guide to help shape the cake ball.
6. To form the mouth, use one of the prepared candy coating wafers to press into the shaped cake balls and make an indentation. You can then shape the lip over the top of the mouth. Repeat with remaining cake balls using one of the prepared candy coating wafers.
7. Return to freezer for a few minutes to chill again and then transfer to refrigerator to remain firm, not frozen.
8. While the shaped cake balls are firming up, prepare the hats for Fozzie. Melt chocolate candy coating and pour some into a small squeeze bottle. Pipe a small circle of coating on wax paper.
9. Then press one mini chocolate peanut butter candy gently on top. Repeat for remaining hats and let dry.
10. To form Fozzie's ears, you will need to attach candy prior to dipping the cake pop in candy coating. Remove from refrigerator and use a little bit of melted coating to attach peanut butter candies on the side of Fozzie's head. Be careful to leave enough room for his hat to fit in between.
11. Place Fozzies with ears back in the refrigerator to remain firm.
12. Prepare candy coating. (You can also do this prior to attaching ears.) Add orange candy coating to previously melted chocolate candy coating. The mixture of the two colors will create a burnt orange shade. Melt candy coating (half chocolate/half orange) in a heat-proof plastic bowl so that the coating is about four inches deep for easier dipping. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals on low, stirring in between. Repeat until melted and smooth.
13. Remove a couple of shaped cake balls from the refrigerator at a time to work with.
14. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted coating and insert into the bottom of Fozzie's head. Carefully dip the entire cake pop with ears attached into the bowl of melted candy coating. Dip and remove in one motion without stirring. Make sure the entire cake ball is covered. Using a deep bowl is helpful here. If your coating is too thick, you can add a little vegetable oil or shortening to help thin it and make it easier to work with.
15. Remove and allow any excess coating to fall off the pop and back into the bowl.
16. Before the coating sets, gently press one prepared red candy coating wafer in place for the mouth and attach one hat on top of Fozzie's head.
17. Place in a styrofoam block to dry.
18. When dry, attach two candy eyes using a toothpick to dot on a tiny bit of candy coating. Use the same technique to attach a round candy with pink shell in place for his nose and a prepared confetti sprinkle in place for his tongue. Let dry.
19. Then use a toothpick to apply more candy coating all over the cake pop. It helps if the coating has started to cool a little in the bowl so when you apply it to the pop, it will hold its shape and resemble fur as you texturize with the toothpick.
20. Let dry completely.
21. If desired, use a red edible ink pen to define his tongue and a purple edible ink pen to draw on eyelids.
22. You can wrap in treat bags tied with a ribbon and/or store them on the counter or in an airtight container for several days.

Chocolate candy coating (with reserved unmelted wafers for ears)
Black jelly beans
White confetti sprinkles
Black edible ink pen
Toothpicks
Paper lollipop sticks

4. Place cake balls in the freezer for about 15 minutes to firm up. You can transfer them to the refrigerator to keep chilled and avoid freezing.
5. When they are firm, shape the cake balls into an oval to resemble Rowlf's head. Return the cake pops to the refrigerator to maintain firmness.
6. Melt peanut butter candy coating in a heat-proof plastic bowl so that the coating is at three to four inches deep for easier dipping. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals on low, stirring in between. Repeat until melted and smooth.
7. Remove a couple of shaped cake balls from the refrigerator at a time to work with.
8. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted coating and insert into the bottom of Rowlf's head. Dip the entire cake pop into the bowl of melted candy coating. Dip and remove in one motion without stirring. Make sure the entire cake ball is covered. Using a deep bowl is helpful here. If your coating is too thick, you can add a little vegetable oil or shortening to help thin it and make it easier to work with.
9. Remove and allow any excess coating to fall off the pop and back into the bowl.
10. Before the coating sets, attach one black jelly bean in position for the nose. Repeat with the remaining Rowlf pops.
11. To create his fur and ears, dip the back of his head into melted chocolate candy coating.
12. Then attach two reserved chocolate candy coating wafers on either side of Rowlf's head where the coating is for his floppy ears. Place them as low on the side of the cake pop as you can.
13. Place in a styrofoam block to dry.
14. To finish decorating, you'll need white confetti sprinkles, toothpicks and a black edible ink pen.
15. Use a toothpick to apply melted chocolate coating on top of the chocolate wafers and around his head where he was dipped in chocolate coating. It will help if the coating sets up a little and thickens so when you apply with the toothpick, it will retain it's shape and resemble fur. Fill in enough coating between the wafer and side of the pop so it looks like his ears seamlessly fall over the side of his head. Let dry completely.
16. Use a toothpick to dot a tiny amount of coating in position for the eyes and attach one white confetti sprinkle. It's best to attach one eye at a time so the coating doesn't dry before you can attach the sprinkle.
17. Use a black edible ink pen to draw on the eyes and his cute smile.
18. Let dry completely.
19. You can wrap in treat bags tied with a ribbon and/or store them on the counter or in an airtight container.
