I tried to get them to meld. I am happy that I was successful ;-). Thank you, too, for your kind wishes for our recovery. We are meeting with our architect this Friday for the "great reveal." He has been working very hard for weeks and we don't have any clue what it is going to look like but are confident that we will like it.
