i've decided i'll start a little blog. like a 'this is what i did today' sort of thing because there's just waaaay too many rp doll sets and not enough of sets that have absolutely no meaning whatsoever on my page ;]

so, i present my weekend.
because i've nothing else to talk about.

friday night was literally spent studying patho hours on end, because i'm still doing the cadaver lab--which is actually one of the most amazing and coolest things ever, despite the stigmas attached to cadavers. it's a great learning experience for those interested in the human body. and no, it's not 'gross' or 'creepy' as some may assume...i mean, if you're a medical person, at least.

i did manage to have some fun, though, as a few of my friends stopped by the apartment and persuaded me to go to 'bar 10; at westin copley with them. i ended up having a peppermint white russian, and it was surprisingly very good. i'm not much of a vodka drinker, btw.

saturday morning consisted of an early morning run around the charles river followed by a quick stop at the hanover farmer's market. unfortunately, i only grabbed a few cartons of strawberries before i had to rush halfway across the city to make it to my realtor appointment on time. i'm looking for a new apartment, but alas, i didn't find any yet. ugh..apartment hunting is so annoying.

saturday night, i had an invitation to attend an awards banquet and dinner with harvard med honoring some of our professors and their accomplishments. i wore this gorgeous versace collection black gown from renttherunway (ohmygosh i'm obsessed with this site. best thing since slice bread.)

and then sunday morning was spent at the harvard boathouse for a bit of early-morning studying (hence all the nautical-ness in this set. boathouses tend to do that to a person). unfortunately, boston is still unbearably cold for a floridian like me, so i didn't stay long. the remainder of the day was once again spent studying patho, venturing to the library, and discovering a new thai restaurant that i am now obsessed with and constantly crave.

that pretty much covers my weekend. how was yours? :)

@henna-enjoys-the-little-things; BAHAHAHAHA NOOOO i swear my life is not all that interesting. it's not like i go to fancy banquets every weekend lol. i literally logged in about 35 hours of studying since this past monday ;]

@stars-and-moon; yes i am :) and yes, harvard is. i love the cambridge campus, but i spend most of my time at hms in boston, which isn't as nearly as exciting as it sounds...unless laboratories and libraries are your thing ;]
